Delta's Back in Hong Kong: 16-Hour Nonstop from LAX!

So, Delta's finally doing it - launching a crazy long 16-hour nonstop flight from LAX to Hong Kong. That's gotta be one of their longest flights yet! They're using the Airbus A350-900 for this route, which is pretty sweet. I mean, I hear the A350 is super comfy for long hauls - anyone flown on one before?

Delta hasn't flown to Hong Kong in like eight years, so it's kinda cool to see them back in the game there. With all the competition on long-haul routes, I guess they're trying to make a big splash. Do you think this means they're gonna expand more in Asia?

Also, 16 hours on a plane... wow. I love flying, but that's a long time to be airborne. Would you guys prefer nonstop like this, or would you break it up with a layover somewhere? I'm curious how this'll do with all the travel dynamics changing lately.

I did a long haul on the A350 before, and yeah, it was pretty comfy. The cabin is quieter, which helps on those marathon flights. As for nonstop vs layover, it depends on my mood. Sometimes I like breaking it up to stretch my legs and maybe grab some local food. But if I'm in a rush, nonstop is the way to go. Wonder if Delta's looking at any other Asian destinations next.
