Getting Started

Creating an Account

Sign up with your email address to start uploading and sharing your aviation photography. You'll need to verify your email before you can upload photos.

Uploading Your First Photo

Click the "Upload" button in the sidebar. Fill in the aircraft details including registration, airline, aircraft type, and airport. Your photo will be reviewed by moderators before being published.

Searching for Photos

Use the search bar to find photos by registration number, airline, aircraft type, or airport code. Click on any photo to view full details and similar images.

Photo Upload Guide

Required Information

Photo: JPEG or PNG format, maximum 20MB
Registration: Aircraft tail number (e.g., N12345)
Airline: Operating airline name
Aircraft Type: Model (e.g., Boeing 737-800)
Airport: Where the photo was taken

Optional Information

Date Taken: When you photographed the aircraft
Comments: Additional details about the photo

Watermarks

All uploaded photos are automatically watermarked with the site name and your name for copyright protection. The watermark appears on the full-size image only - thumbnails remain clean.

Moderation

All photos are reviewed by our moderation team before being published. This typically takes 24-48 hours. You'll receive an email notification when your photo is approved or if any issues need to be addressed.

Community Features

Following Users

Follow other photographers to see their latest uploads and stay connected with the community.

Favorites

Save photos you love to your favorites collection. Access them anytime from your profile.

Comments

Engage with other users by commenting on photos. You can reply to comments, edit your own comments, and report inappropriate content.

Forum

Participate in discussions about aviation, photography techniques, and spotting locations. Share your knowledge and learn from others.

Account & Privacy

Email Verification

You must verify your email address before uploading photos. Check your inbox for the verification link after signing up.

Changing Your Password

Go to Settings to update your password. You'll need to enter your current password for security.

Profile Privacy

Your profile and approved photos are publicly visible. Only you can see your pending or rejected photos.

Deleting Your Account

Contact our support team if you wish to delete your account. All your data will be permanently removed.

Technical Issues

Upload Problems

Ensure your image is under 20MB
Only JPEG and PNG formats are supported
Check that all required fields are filled in
Try a different browser if issues persist

Can't Log In?

Check that your email is verified
Use the "Forgot Password" link to reset
Ensure cookies and JavaScript are enabled
Clear your browser cache and try again
