By accessing and using AirlinePics.com ("the Site"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use the Site.

2. Description of Service

AirlinePics.com provides a platform for aviation enthusiasts to share, view, and discuss aircraft photography. The service includes:

  • Photo upload and sharing capabilities
  • Photo search and browsing
  • Community forums and discussions
  • User profiles and social features
  • Aviation news aggregation

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

To upload photos and participate in the community, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your password
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

3.2 Account Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend accounts that violate these terms, without prior notice.

4. Content and Copyright

4.1 Your Content

You retain all ownership rights to photos you upload. By uploading content, you grant AirlinePics.com a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

  • Display your photos on our platform
  • Create thumbnails and watermarked versions
  • Promote your content within our service

4.2 Content Restrictions

You may not upload content that:

  • Violates copyright or intellectual property rights
  • Contains malicious code or viruses
  • Is illegal, offensive, or inappropriate
  • Infringes on privacy or publicity rights
  • Contains false or misleading information

4.3 Watermarking

All uploaded photos are automatically watermarked with the site name and your name for copyright protection. You may not remove or circumvent these watermarks.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site for any unlawful purpose
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Site's operation
  • Use automated systems to access the Site (scraping, bots)
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Spam or distribute unsolicited messages

6. Moderation

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. Objectionable content includes, without limitation: pornographic or sexually explicit material; hate speech, slurs, or content that demeans a person or group on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or disability; graphic violence; harassment, threats, or bullying; content that depicts or promotes illegal activity; and spam or fraudulent solicitation.

Content that violates this policy is removed and the responsible account is suspended or terminated. We do not require a pattern of behaviour before acting — a single violation is sufficient grounds for removal and termination.

All uploaded photos are subject to moderation before publication. We reserve the right to:

  • Approve or reject any photo submission
  • Remove content that violates these terms
  • Edit photo metadata for accuracy
  • Remove comments or forum posts
  • Suspend or terminate accounts that post objectionable content

Reporting content and blocking users

Every photo, comment, and member profile can be reported. On the website use the report control on the item; in the AirlinePics iPhone app, use the "..." menu on any photo, comment, or profile. You may also block any member, which hides their content from you and yours from them in both directions.

We review every report and act on violating content within 24 hours of it being reported, by removing the content, suspending the account, or both. Reports can also be sent directly to [email protected].

Moderation decisions are final, though you may contact support if you believe an error was made.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

  • The Site will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Defects will be corrected
  • The Site is free of viruses or harmful components
  • Content accuracy or reliability

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AIRLINEPICS.COM SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold AirlinePics.com, its officers, directors, employees, and agents harmless from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Site
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of another party
  • Content you upload to the Site

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Site. Your continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Site immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Site will immediately cease.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
