So, American Airlines just hit a couple of cool milestones. They celebrated their 100th anniversary, and almost in the same breath, they took delivery of their 100th Boeing 737 MAX. I think it's kinda neat how they dressed it up with a bow, just like they did with their 100th MD-80 back in 1987. A nice little nod to history, I guess.
Honestly, I'm curious how folks feel about the 737 MAX these days. After all the issues it had, do you think airlines like American are still seeing them as a solid part of their fleet? Also, with American Airlines being around for a century, it's wild to think about how much aviation has changed since they first started. Do you guys think American will keep up with all the new tech and stay strong for another 100 years?
Anyway, pretty cool to see them celebrate like this. What do you all think about these milestones? Anyone have any stories about flying on their 737 MAX recently?
