Hey everyone, just saw that Finnair's gonna start flying to Tampere and Turku again from October 2026. They're adding daily overnight flights from Helsinki to both cities. So, you can catch morning connections to Europe and beyond. Pretty cool, right?
I think it's awesome for folks in Tampere and Turku. Makes it way easier to travel internationally without having to trek to Helsinki first. Plus, it's good news for the local airports. Always felt a bit bad for those who had to drive hours to catch a long-haul flight.
Wonder if this means we'll see more domestic routes from Finnair in the future? Maybe they're testing the waters with these two cities before expanding further. What do you guys think? Also, anyone know if these flights will use their A320s or something smaller? Could be interesting to see what aircraft they choose for these routes.
