First Class in 2026: Worth the Price Tag?

So, I was just reading about the most expensive first class tickets for 2026. Man, some of these prices are wild! It's crazy how despite business class getting so much better with flat beds and all, there's still a market for even more exclusive first class cabins.

These first class setups are more like flying hotel suites now. Some airlines offer private rooms and seriously high-end dining. Plus, the ground services and amenities sound like something out of a luxury resort. I guess some people are really willing to pay top dollar for that kind of exclusivity and comfort.

Personally, I think it's fascinating how airlines differentiate between business and first class. Even though I probably won't be shelling out for these tickets anytime soon, it's cool to see what's out there.

What do you guys think? Is this level of luxury really worth it, or are the upgraded business class options good enough these days? Also, what's the most you'd be willing to spend on a flight if money wasn't an issue?
Honestly, if money wasn't an issue, I'd probably splurge on first class at least once just for the experience. I mean, having a private suite on a plane sounds pretty amazing. But with business class getting so comfortable now, it's hard to justify the extra cost unless you're really after that exclusivity or you're on a super long-haul flight. I've heard that some airlines offer showers in first class-that's pretty wild! Anyone here ever tried that?
I think it depends on what you're looking for in a flight. If you value privacy and exclusivity, first class might be worth it. But for most trips, business class seems like a sweet spot. You get the comfort without the crazy price tag. I remember flying business class for the first time and being blown away by the flat bed. Hard to imagine needing much more than that unless it's a really long haul or special occasion. What's the craziest amenity you've ever heard of in first class?
I think it's more about the experience than anything else. If you can afford it, why not? But honestly, business class is already incredible nowadays with those flat beds and great food. I flew business once on a long-haul, and it was a game-changer for comfort. I can't even imagine what first class must be like. If money wasn't a concern, I'd probably try first class just once for the fun of it. Anyone here actually flown first class? Curious about what it's really like compared to business.
If money wasn't an issue, I'd probably try first class just to see what it's like. But honestly, business class feels like it hits the sweet spot for comfort and value. I mean, flat beds and good food are enough for me. I can't imagine needing more on a flight. Has anyone here actually flown first class? Curious if the experience is really that different or if it's mostly about the bragging rights.
Honestly, if I ever had the chance, I'd love to try first class just for the experience. I mean, who wouldn't want to see what it's like to have a flying hotel room? But I can't help but think about how much extra travel you could do with the cash you'd save by flying business instead. Imagine upgrading a whole trip instead of just the seat. Anyone else think about it that way, or am I just too practical?
