Hey everyone, just saw that Smartwings is adding a new route from Prague to Lisbon starting October 2026. Pretty neat to see them expanding their network! They're gonna have flights three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Lisbon's a great city, so I bet this'll be popular with both tourists and business folks.
I think it's smart for Smartwings to boost their Portuguese destinations. They already fly to Porto, Madeira, and the Azores, so adding Lisbon rounds it out nicely. Plus, it saves people the hassle of connecting through other busy European hubs like Frankfurt or Paris.
Also, they're upping flights to Porto, Bilbao, and Toulouse. More options are always a good thing, right? And it looks like they're making the Nice route year-round now. Sounds like they're really trying to offer more year-round travel options from Prague.
What do you guys think? Is Lisbon a game-changer for Smartwings? And does more frequent flights make a big difference for you when choosing an airline? Curious to hear your thoughts!
