So, JetBlue's shaking things up again. They're cutting some transcon flights from Newark and LaGuardia, but boosting premium flights out of Fort Lauderdale. They're ditching Newark to Vegas and L.A. routes, but bringing back Fort Lauderdale to San Diego with their Mint service by 2026. Seems like they're betting big on South Florida after Spirit's exit.
It makes sense, I guess. Newark's got crazy competition and costs, especially for those long transcon routes. JetBlue's stronger at JFK anyway. By focusing more on Fort Lauderdale, they can tap into both leisure and premium markets, plus add more flights since they've already got a good base there.
