Delta's Big Move: First A321XLRs Coming in 2024 - Thoughts?

So, I just read that Delta's gonna start getting their first A321XLRs next year. They're supposed to get around 50 of these birds, and I'm pretty curious about how this'll shake things up. I mean, these planes can go pretty far - like, 4,700 nautical miles. That's a game-changer for some routes, right?

I'm thinking Delta might use them to open up some new long and thin routes that aren't viable with bigger aircraft. Or maybe they'll replace older, less efficient ones on existing routes. Either way, I'm excited to see where they'll end up flying these. Anyone have insider info on which routes Delta might target first? Or thoughts on how this could impact their fleet strategy overall?

Kinda cool to see more airlines betting on the XLR for longer flights. Wondering if this could be a trend that pushes Boeing to speed up its own mid-market plane. Let's chat about it!
