So I just read about this wild incident with a United Airlines Boeing 737 at Cancun Airport. Apparently, a swarm of bees decided to camp out on the wing! Can you imagine looking out the window and seeing that? Must've been quite a sight.
Anyway, the pilot handled it pretty well. They ended up just taking off and the bees were taken care of by the wind. Sounds like nature's way of dealing with it, right?
I think it's kinda funny and a little scary at the same time. I mean, what if they hadn't noticed before takeoff? Makes you wonder about all the unexpected things that can happen in aviation. Has anyone else heard of something like this happening before? Or maybe even experienced it firsthand?
Also, what do you guys think about how they handled it? I'm no expert, but I guess there aren't too many options when you're dealing with bees. Curious to hear your thoughts on how you'd deal with unexpected situations like this in aviation. Seems like there's always something new popping up in this industry!
