So I was reading about how airlines have spent a ton of money on these fancy new business class suites. You know, with sliding privacy doors, big screens, wireless charging, the works. But here's the weird part - a lot of these new planes have the doors locked open. Like, what's the point of having them if you can't use them?
I get that airlines are trying to attract business and premium travelers with these upgrades. But if the doors can't be closed, it kinda defeats the purpose, right? I mean, privacy is a big selling point for these suites. I wonder if it's a regulatory thing or just a temporary issue they're working on.
Also, some seats can't even be temporarily bought. This has got to be frustrating for people willing to pay extra for some privacy. Anyone know why they're doing this? Is it just a roll-out hiccup, or are there other reasons?
What do you guys think? Would you still pay for a business class ticket if you couldn't close the door on your suite?
