Flight Attendants Making Big Bucks in 2026?

So I just read about how much money flight attendants might be raking in by 2026, and wow, it's pretty interesting! Seems like if you're a senior international flight attendant at a big US airline, you could be making upwards of $90k a year. That's including all the perks like premiums, per diems, and layover pay. Not bad, right?

Starting out, the pay isn't as high, around $25-$40 per hour, but it sounds like patience and seniority really pay off in this job. Every year you stick around, you kinda climb the pay ladder.

I'm curious though, for those of you who know the industry well, do you think the salary growth is enough to keep people interested in becoming flight attendants? Also, how does this compare to flight attendants in other regions like Europe or Asia? Are the pay scales similar, or is the US just on a different level? Would love to hear your thoughts!

It's true that seniority plays a huge role in those pay bumps. My cousin's been a flight attendant for about ten years now, and she always says the starting pay is tough but worth it if you stick it out. As for Europe and Asia, I heard flight attendants there generally make less, especially when you factor in cost of living differences. Plus, work conditions can vary quite a bit. In the US, unions often push for better pay and conditions, which might not be the case everywhere else. Curious to see if these trends will really continue into 2026!
