Airline CEOs Making Bank: What Do You Think?

So, I just read about how much airline CEOs are raking in and, man, it's a lot! These guys are pulling in massive salaries along with bonuses and other incentives. I get that leading a big company is a tough gig, but it's interesting (and kinda wild) to see the numbers laid out. Considering how rough the public perception of airlines can be with delays, cancellations, and employee strikes, it makes you wonder how they justify these paychecks sometimes.

I mean, I know it's not just airlines-CEOs across the board make big bucks. But when you hear about unstable employee wages and other airline struggles, it really stands out. Do you guys think these salaries are justified? Or is it just another example of executives cashing in while everyone else deals with the turbulence?

Also, with all the pressure from the public and even from within the industry, do you think we'll ever see any real change in how these salaries are structured? Or is this just the way it is in the corporate world? Curious to hear your thoughts!

I kinda get why they make a lot, considering the responsibility and pressure on their shoulders, but yeah, it's crazy how high those numbers can get. What's wild is when you see airlines struggling with customer service issues and employee dissatisfaction while the CEOs are cashing in huge payouts. Seems like there's a disconnect somewhere. Maybe if there were more transparency in how these salaries are determined, it might make more sense? But then again, corporate world isn't exactly known for that.
