Bamboo Airways Down to 3 Planes - What's Next?

Started by StevenLHR77 1 months ago 2 replies 49 views
So, Bamboo Airways is in a bit of a pickle right now. They've pulled their scheduled flights for August 2026 and are down to just three aircraft-yikes. They're not completely grounded, though. It looks like they're focusing on charter flights, but even then, only one of their planes is doing the heavy lifting.

This is a big change from their ambitious days when they had over 40 planes and even Dreamliners! Now they're just hanging on with a few A320s and A321s. I guess their plans to expand the fleet and revive long-haul flights with Dreamliners aren't happening anytime soon, especially with all the financial issues they're facing.

What do you guys think about this whole situation? Can Bamboo bounce back, or is this the beginning of the end for them? And how do you think this affects their passengers, especially with all the delays and refund problems? Curious to hear your thoughts!
It's tough to see Bamboo in this spot. They had such big plans, and now it's like they're just trying to keep the lights on. I'm wondering how this is gonna play out for passengers who rely on them. With only a few planes, delays and cancellations must be through the roof. If they don't sort out their finances soon, it's hard to see how they can recover. Anyone have more details on how they're handling refunds and tickets?
