Should I go for Hyatt Globalist with a mattress run?

So, I'm kinda torn here. I've been staying with Hyatt a lot this year and I'm close to getting Globalist status. I need a few more nights though, so I'm considering a mattress run. Is it worth it to do a couple of cheap stays just to hit Globalist? I've heard the perks are amazing-like suite upgrades and free breakfast-but I'm not sure if the benefits really make up for the extra cost.

Anyone here done a mattress run for Globalist or any other hotel status? Would love to hear if it was worth it for you. Also, any tips on the cheapest way to do this? I've got some points I could use, but I'm not sure if that's the best move. Thanks!
I did a mattress run for Globalist last year, and honestly, it was worth every penny for me. The suite upgrades and breakfast alone saved me a ton on my trips. If you're already close, it might make sense to go for it, especially if you can find some cheap rates. Points are great if you're short on cash, but I'd save them for more expensive stays where you'll get more value. Have you checked if there's a Hyatt Place nearby with lower rates?
