So, I just read that Sydney Airport's had its third ground safety incident in under three weeks. This time, a Virgin Australia 737 had to reject its take-off because a Qantas 737 was crossing the runway. Happened around 10 AM on August 9th. That's pretty intense, right?
I mean, three incidents so close together isn't great. Makes you wonder what's going on with the ground operations there. Are they short-staffed, or is it a communication issue?
I know air traffic control usually has a ton on their plate, but this seems like something they should be on top of. Anyone else think it might be related to them ramping up post-COVID operations? Could be a factor, but I'm just guessing.
