Hey everyone, just saw that Starlux Airlines is putting a big chunk of cash into a new training base in Taiwan. They're spending TWD4.2 billion, which is about USD132 million, on this multipurpose building at the Taoyuan Aerotropolis. It's gonna be for training pilots, cabin crew, and other frontline folks. Pretty cool to see them investing in infrastructure like this. It's expected to be done by 2029, so it'll take a while, but I guess these things don't happen overnight.
Also noticed they're pulling back a bit on their corporate HQ spending. They cut the foundation work cost from TWD505 million to TWD278 million. Wonder if this is related to shifting priorities or just normal budget stuff.
