Gol and Avianca Team Up for Colombian Aid Flights

Hey guys, just read that Gol and Avianca have teamed up to deliver humanitarian aid to Colombia's Coffee Region. Apparently, they've set up some sort of air bridge to get essential supplies over there because of an emergency situation. They pulled it off using a Boeing 737 for cargo flights from So Paulo, with a stop in Bogot.

Seems like a pretty solid effort by both airlines to step up in a crisis. I think it's always impressive when companies put resources into helping out like this. Makes me wonder about the logistics behind coordinating flights between different countries and airlines. Anyone know how that usually works?

Also, it's interesting to see a Brazilian and a Colombian airline working together on this. Do you guys think we'll see more of these kinds of partnerships between airlines for humanitarian efforts in the future? Anyway, just thought it was cool how aviation can make a real difference in times like these. What do you all think?

Coordination must be a real puzzle. I mean, getting clearance, organizing ground crews, and timing everything just right between different countries? That's gotta be tricky, especially with an emergency situation. I wonder if they use a specific protocol or if it's more ad hoc. As for future partnerships, I think we'll see more.
