Aero Dili Thinking About a New Plane in 2027 - Thoughts?

So I read that Aero Dili from Timor-Leste is thinking about adding a third aircraft to their fleet in 2027. Right now, they're having trouble expanding because they just don't have enough planes. They're flying to places like Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and China, but can't seem to add this new route to Kupang.

I think it's pretty cool that a small airline like Aero Dili is managing to operate in such a competitive region. But waiting until 2027 for a new aircraft seems like a long time. I'm guessing it's probably due to financial constraints or maybe even aircraft availability? Who knows.

What do you guys think about smaller airlines trying to expand like this? And does anyone have any insights into why they're waiting until 2027? Is it just about money or are there other factors at play here?
Yeah, 2027 does feel like a long wait. It could be financial, like you said, but maybe they're also waiting for a specific aircraft model? Sometimes smaller airlines have to be really strategic about what they buy. The right plane can make or break a route, especially with fuel efficiency and maintenance costs. Also, given the current market and how things are with supply chains, they might just be trying to secure a good deal. Anyone know what type of aircraft they might be considering?
Could be a mix of both money and waiting for the right aircraft. Smaller airlines often don't have the cash flow to just buy planes whenever. Plus, they might be looking for a specific model that fits their routes and budget. Also, getting slots at airports like Singapore and China can be tough. Maybe they're lining up all those ducks before committing. Anyone know what aircraft they're eyeing?
