So I stumbled upon a deck of vintage airline playing cards at a flea market last weekend. They're from TWA and I'm pretty sure they're from the 1960s. The designs are super retro and honestly, they're in pretty decent condition for their age. I only paid a couple of bucks for them and I thought they were a neat find.
Now I'm curious - is this a thing people collect? I know playing cards aren't as flashy as model planes or safety cards, but there's something cool about holding a piece of aviation history you can actually use. Does anyone else collect these? If so, any tips on where I might find more? Or should I just keep my eyes peeled at flea markets and estate sales? Let me know if I should start hunting for other airlines too!
