WFS Gets Into Oslo Airport - More Cargo Options!

Started by DENCloud78 2 weeks ago 1 replies 67 views
So, I just read that Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) is jumping into the cargo game at Oslo Airport. This is the first time they're setting up shop in Norway. Pretty cool that they're expanding like this. WFS is gonna be the third cargo handler there, which should shake things up a bit. More competition usually means better service or lower prices, right?

Avinor, the airport operator, thinks adding another provider is a good move. Makes sense to me. More options for airlines and freight forwarders can't be a bad thing. I guess it could mean some growing pains as they get everything up and running, but that'll probably sort itself out.

I'm curious how this is gonna affect the current players at Oslo. Will they have to step up their game? Also, anyone know if this means more flights or just more efficient handling of what's already there? If you're in Norway or have flown through Oslo recently, what's the cargo scene like there anyway? Always interested to hear local takes on these things!
