Latvian Parliament Backs airBaltic Investment - What Does It Mean?

So, it looks like the Latvian parliament just gave the green light for an investment in airBaltic. I think this could be a pretty big deal for the airline. From what I know, airBaltic has been trying to expand and modernize its fleet, so this could really help them out. They've been doing pretty well with their fleet of Airbus A220s, and maybe this investment will let them add more routes or increase frequencies.

I'm curious how this will play out, especially with all the competition in Europe right now. Will this help airBaltic stand out more in the crowded market? Also, anyone know if this means they'll be flying to more long-haul destinations or focusing on their regional network?

It'll be interesting to see how this impacts their strategy moving forward. Honestly, I'm not sure what the long-term plan is, but it seems like a good move for them. What do you all think? Do you reckon this is the boost they need, or is it just a drop in the bucket?
