Hey everyone, just got back from a quick visit to Anchorage (ANC) and wow, the low light there is no joke! I tried shooting during those long twilight hours and found it a bit tricky to get the settings just right. I was using a Canon EOS R6 with a 100-400mm lens. I played around with ISO settings between 1600 and 3200, but still, some shots were just too noisy.
Anyone have tips or tricks for shooting in low light at ANC? I'm thinking maybe a faster lens could help, but I also don't want to break the bank. Also, curious if anyone uses specific noise reduction techniques in Lightroom that work well for this kind of scenario. Always appreciate hearing what works for others, especially when it comes to keeping those shots sharp and detailed without losing too much in post-processing. Thanks!
