Bombardier's Big Move - Bringing Wing Production In-House!

Started by TimothyAirside8 5 days ago 1 replies 65 views
So I just read that Bombardier is planning to acquire MHICA from Mitsubishi in Mississauga. This means they'll be bringing in the production of wings and fuselage structures for their Global 5500, Global 6500, and Challenger 3500 jets. Pretty big move, right? They're adding 750 employees to their team with this deal.

Honestly, I think this makes a lot of sense for Bombardier. By keeping the production in-house, they might have more control over the quality and maybe even streamline the process a bit. Plus, being able to coordinate more closely with the design teams could lead to some cool innovations.

I'm curious, though-do you think this will help Bombardier in the long run? And what about Mitsubishi? Seems like they're offloading quite a bit here. Is that a good thing for them? Would love to hear what you guys think about this whole move!
