Ryanair Wants EU Border System Delay - What Do You Think?

So, Ryanair's asking the EU to push back the Entry/Exit System (EES) implementation to April 2027. They say it's been causing crazy delays, like up to three hours, at airports across Europe this summer. I mean, I get it. No one wants to be stuck in a queue for ages, especially when you're just trying to get on with your holiday or business trip. But then again, these systems are supposed to make things more secure in the long run, right?

Honestly, I think if the system is causing that much of a headache, maybe they need more time to iron out the kinks before going full steam ahead. But I'm also wondering if there's a way to balance security and efficiency without pushing the date that far back.

What do you guys think? Is Ryanair just trying to avoid short-term pain, or do they have a point about the system not being ready yet? And, how do you think this affects other airlines or passengers in general? Would love to hear your thoughts!
