Ryanair: Making $$$ by Keeping It Uncomfy?

So, I was reading about how Ryanair's killing it financially by making their flights super no-frills. It's kinda wild! Most airlines are all about adding more comfort, but Ryanair's going the opposite way and making bank by cutting out the extras.

They charge for stuff like hand luggage and even make passengers wait on cold tarmacs, yet they somehow keep winning in the profit game. I guess their low-cost model is working really well for them. I mean, they're outperforming some big legacy carriers who spend so much on passenger comfort.

It's interesting how Ryanair's simplicity is actually a solid strategy. Makes you wonder if more airlines will start going this route.

What do you guys think? Is this the future of flying or just a Ryanair thing? And would you actually choose comfort over cost if given the option? Curious to hear your thoughts!
It's all about what people are willing to put up with for a cheap ticket. Ryanair's got that market figured out. I think it's a niche that'll always be there for folks who just want to get from A to B without caring about the extras. Personally, I'd rather save money and deal with a little discomfort on a short flight, but I'd think twice for anything over a couple of hours. Wonder if other airlines could pull it off without trashing their brand though.
I've flown Ryanair a few times, and honestly, it's not too bad if you know what to expect. It's like taking a bus in the sky. If I'm just hopping over to another city for a quick trip and can save cash, I'll take the discomfort. But for longer flights, I'd rather pay extra for some comfort. Wonder if airlines in the US or Asia would ever try this model. It'd be interesting to see if it catches on beyond Europe.
