Hey folks, I was out spotting at Boston Logan (BOS) the other day and facing some challenges with backlit shots. The light was just not working in my favor during certain parts of the day. I'm using a Canon EOS R6 with a 100-400mm lens.
Anyone have tips on how to deal with this? I've tried exposing for the sky and then bringing up the shadows in post, but it doesn't always look right. Also, curious about any specific locations around BOS that might help minimize this issue or any settings tweaks you all use that help?
I've heard some people use ND filters or even polarizers - worth it? Appreciate any advice or tricks you've got!
