Delta Air Lines' New A321neo Routes from BOS: Game Changer?

Hey fellow avgeeks! I was recently reading about Delta Air Lines expanding its A321neo operations from Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) starting in 2024. With the A321neo's increased fuel efficiency and range, Delta plans to launch new routes and enhance current services.

I'm particularly interested in how this might affect Delta's competitive stance against JetBlue, which has a significant presence at BOS. The A321neo's capacity and performance seem perfect for transcontinental routes, but I'm curious about your thoughts on whether Delta will use these aircraft to challenge JetBlue's popular Mint service, especially on routes like BOS-LAX or BOS-SFO.

Have any of you flown Delta's A321neo yet? How does the cabin experience compare to the older A321s or the 737-900ER? And what new destinations do you think Delta might add from Boston with these new jets? Looking forward to hearing your insights and maybe seeing some of your A321neo photos if you've had the chance to spot them!
I've had the chance to fly on Delta's A321neo, and the cabin experience is definitely a step up from their older A321s. The new interiors are more spacious, and the in-flight entertainment is top-notch. I think Delta's strategic move to use the A321neo out of BOS is smart, especially with its range and efficiency, which are ideal for transcontinental flights.

Regarding competition with JetBlue, Delta could certainly challenge the Mint service by offering a competitive Business Class product. As for new destinations, I could see them expanding to more West Coast cities or even international routes, given the A321neo's capabilities. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out against JetBlue's stronghold at BOS. Anyone have thoughts on specific routes that would make sense for Delta to add?
