So, Singapore Airlines snagged the top spot at the 2026 Skytrax World Airline Awards, beating out Qatar Airways. Honestly, not too shocked here. They've always been known for their stellar service. Qatar did hold that spot for a while, though. Guess it was only a matter of time before Singapore made a comeback.
Cathay Pacific, ANA, and Turkish Airlines rounded out the top five. All pretty solid choices if you ask me. Also, Qatar still managed to keep the World's Best Business Class title. Those guys really know what they're doing in that department.
It's interesting how these awards shake out each year. They always stir up a bit of debate. Do you guys think these rankings really influence people's airline choices, or are they just a nice-to-have? And what about Cathay Pacific and ANA? They've been up there consistently too. Do you think they're underrated compared to Singapore and Qatar?
Anyway, I've never flown Singapore Airlines myself, but I've got a friend who swears by them. Would love to hear your experiences if you've flown with them recently!
