Qantas Ground Crew Strike: What's Going On?

Started by AVGeek763 • 1 months ago • 1 replies • 64 views
So, it looks like Qantas ground workers are planning a strike next week. They're upset about work conditions and pay. Can't blame them, considering the recent issues with Qantas and the Transport Workers' Union. Remember when Qantas got in hot water for illegally letting go of 1,800 workers? Seems like tensions are still high.

Honestly, it's tough for the workers, but it's also gonna be a headache for passengers with all the delays and chaos this might cause at the airports. I wonder how Qantas will handle this-are they going to negotiate or just wait it out? And how do you guys think this will impact their reputation? They've already had a rough patch with the layoffs, so this is just adding fuel to the fire.

But hey, strikes can sometimes lead to better conditions if they play it right. What do you all think Qantas should do to make this right? And how big of an impact do you think this strike will have on their operations? Curious to hear your thoughts.
