Lufthansa's Social Media Oops - What Happened?

So, I just read about Lufthansa having to apologize after a bit of a mess-up on social media. Seems like a passenger reached out to them for some help but got ignored, and when Lufthansa finally responded, it wasn't up to their usual standards. They owned up to it on X (formerly Twitter) and said sorry.

I think it's pretty interesting how airlines handle customer service online these days. It's such a public platform, and things can get out of hand quickly. Lufthansa is usually pretty solid with their service, so it's kind of surprising to see them slip up like this.

Anyone else think it's a tough balance for airlines to maintain great service both in the air and online? I mean, they're dealing with so many people every day, and social media adds another layer to it all. Have you guys ever had to deal with an airline's customer service on social media? How was it? Let's chat about it!
