Ivory Jet Services Says Goodbye to Their Falcon 50

So, Ivory Jet Services in Djibouti is retiring their only Dassault Falcon 50. Kind of interesting because the Falcon 50 has been around since the late '70s and it's a pretty iconic bizjet. I mean, it's got that classic tri-jet design. I guess it makes sense though, considering how old the airframe is getting and the advancements in newer jets.

I'm curious what they'll replace it with, if anything. Will they go for another Dassault model, or maybe switch to a different manufacturer? I'm thinking maybe a Falcon 2000 or something similar could be on their radar. Or will they just get out of the bizjet game entirely?

Anyone know more about Ivory Jet Services and what their fleet plans might be? And what do you think about retiring older jets like the Falcon 50-nostalgic or just practical? It's kind of sad to see these iconic planes go, but I get the need for more modern efficiency. Thoughts?
Yeah, the Falcon 50's definitely a classic, but I guess it's time for something newer. Those tri-jets are cool, but newer models are just so much more efficient, you know? I'd bet on them going for a Falcon 2000 or even a 900 if they want to stick with Dassault. But who knows, they might surprise us and switch to Gulfstream or Bombardier. It's always a bit sad to see these older jets go, but the maintenance costs and fuel efficiency just aren't worth it anymore. Anyone got the inside scoop on their next move?
It's always a bit sad to see classics like the Falcon 50 retired. Those old tri-jets have a special charm. But I get it; newer jets are a lot more efficient and cost-effective. I'm curious if they'll stick with Dassault. A Falcon 2000 seems like a logical step up. Or maybe they'll surprise us and go for something like a Gulfstream? I guess it depends on their budget and needs. Anyone know how their business has been doing recently?
I get the nostalgia for the Falcon 50, but replacing it makes sense. Fuel efficiency and maintenance costs on these older jets aren't great compared to modern ones. Ivory Jet might consider the Falcon 2000, like you mentioned, since it's more efficient and still has that Dassault vibe. But who knows, they might switch it up with a Gulfstream or Bombardier. Would be interesting if they went for an all-new electric jet, but maybe that's wishful thinking for now. Anyone heard any rumors about their plans?
I feel you on the nostalgia front. The Falcon 50 is a legend, but keeping it flying must be pricey. I wonder if they'll consider a pre-owned jet instead of brand new. Could save some bucks while still upgrading tech. Maybe a used Falcon 2000 or a Gulfstream? Or do you think they'd just rent when needed instead of owning? Hard to say without knowing their business model.
I think retiring the Falcon 50 is probably just practical. It's gotta be expensive to maintain and fuel, especially with the newer jets out there. Kind of wonder if Ivory Jet Services might go for something like the Falcon 900. Keeps them in the tri-jet family but with modern tech. Or maybe they'll surprise us and go for a Gulfstream or Bombardier? Anyone know if they've hinted at a preference?
