Is It Worth Going for Hilton Diamond Status in 2024?

Hey all, I've been mulling over whether to make a run for Hilton Diamond status next year. I've got a few trips lined up for work and a couple of personal ones, so it's not entirely out of reach. But I'm trying to figure out if the benefits are really worth the effort.

I know you get lounge access and upgrades, but I've also heard mixed reviews about the consistency. Plus, with all these credit cards offering automatic status, I'm wondering if the Diamond perks still stand out?

Anyone here with recent experience? Especially curious if the breakfast benefit is still solid and how often you actually get the suite upgrades. Also, does anyone know if the milestone bonuses make a big difference?

I've held Diamond status for a couple of years now, and it's a bit of a mixed bag. The breakfast perk is usually good, but it varies a lot by location. Some places have a great spread, others not so much. Suite upgrades are hit or miss too. Got a few nice ones, but sometimes just a slightly better room. The milestone bonuses are decent if you're traveling a lot, but with so many cards giving status, you might not feel as special. If you're already traveling, it might be worth it, but I wouldn't go too far out of my way.
