So, I saw that Iranian airlines are still operating even though US sanctions are causing all sorts of problems for them. Honestly, I'm kinda surprised they're managing to keep things going. From what I've heard, these sanctions make it really tough for them to get new planes or even spare parts for maintenance.
I guess they've had to get pretty creative with keeping their fleets airworthy. Must be a huge challenge, especially when you think about how old some of their aircraft are. Pretty wild to think about how they're pulling it off without the usual support networks available to other airlines.
Does anyone know more about how they're managing their operations or maintaining their fleets under these conditions? And how long do you think they can keep this up before it starts to impact their safety or reliability? Would love to hear your thoughts!
