Hey folks, just read that Air France is adding some new routes to their US network. Starting May 2027, they'll fly nonstop from Paris to Nashville and San Diego. They're using the A350-900, which is pretty cool. I love that plane. Flights will run three times a week - Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Nashville is getting its first nonstop from continental Europe, which is a big deal for Music City. And San Diego's getting another European option besides that KLM flight to Amsterdam. I think these routes could be popular with both tourists and business travelers. A direct link to Paris opens up a lot of Europe, right?

Tickets go on sale October 2026, so mark your calendars if you're planning a trip. I'm curious to see how this affects travel patterns. Will it pull more tourists to Nashville? And how will it compete with other airlines' routes from the West Coast to Europe? Let me know what you think!
Interesting move by Air France! The A350-900 is such a nice aircraft for long hauls. Nashville getting its first nonstop to Europe is pretty huge, especially for international tourists interested in the music scene. San Diego already has some European connections, but more options are always good. I wonder how this will affect the fares on existing routes. Could drive prices down a bit with the added competition, right? Also curious if these flights will have any impact on local tourism and business travel growth.
Wonder how the Nashville flights will do since it's more known for domestic travel. But hey, a direct link to Paris could attract music lovers and industry folks. San Diego makes a lot of sense though, given its growing tech scene. A350-900 is a comfy ride, so that's a plus. Curious if Delta will adjust their Paris flights from LAX or other hubs because of this. Anyone else think airlines will start looking at more secondary cities for European routes?
I'm curious about how the Nashville route will perform too. It's not a city I usually associate with international flights, but maybe that'll change. The A350 is a great choice-super comfy for long flights. I wonder if the San Diego route will take some pressure off the LAX flights. Could be a game changer for folks on the West Coast looking for a more convenient option.
