So, Breeze Airways just announced they're adding 16 nonstop routes! That's a pretty big move for an airline that just hit the five-year mark. They're spreading their wings to some new cities too: Boston, Buffalo, Latrobe, and Santo Domingo. Pretty cool that they're expanding so quickly.
I think it's interesting to see a smaller airline like Breeze making these kinds of moves. It kind of reminds me of when JetBlue was growing fast back in the day. I bet this'll shake up some of the competition on those routes, maybe even lower some fares.
But I'm curious, what do you guys think? Is this too much expansion too quickly for Breeze? Or is it just what they need to grow their brand? And how do you think the bigger airlines are gonna react? More competition is usually good for us travelers, right?
Looking forward to hearing what you all think about Breeze's strategy here!
