Comparing the Airbus A350 and Boeing 747: Which is Larger?

Hey fellow aviation enthusiasts! I came across an interesting discussion point about the size comparison between the Airbus A350 family and the Boeing 747 Jumbo family. While the Airbus A350 is a marvel of modern engineering and highly efficient, it doesn't quite match up in size to the iconic Boeing 747. The 747 remains one of the largest passenger aircraft ever built, and only a select few like the Lockheed C-5M Super Galaxy, Antonov An-124 Ruslan, and the Airbus A380 surpass it in terms of size and payload.

The A350, though smaller, offers advanced technology, greater fuel efficiency, and a strong range, which makes it a favorite among airlines for long-haul flights. Meanwhile, the 747 continues to capture the imagination with its distinctive hump and sheer size, especially the later variants like the 747-8.

I'm curious about your thoughts: Do you think the advancements in aircraft like the A350 make size less relevant in today's aviation industry? And for those who've photographed both, which aircraft do you find more photogenic and why? Looking forward to hearing what you all think!
