Hey fellow aviation enthusiasts! I'm planning a spotting trip to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) next month and I'm looking for some advice on the best locations for photography. I've heard that the In-N-Out Burger on Sepulveda Boulevard is a popular choice, but I'm curious if there are other spots I should check out too.
I'm particularly interested in getting some good shots of international arrivals and departures, especially the larger wide-body aircraft like the A380 and 777. I shoot with a Canon EOS 90D and typically use a 100-400mm lens.
Additionally, any tips on the best times of day for lighting would be greatly appreciated. I've heard that certain locations might be better for morning or afternoon shooting.
Looking forward to your suggestions and any photos you might have from LAX. Thanks in advance!
