Hey everyone,
I recently read that Delta has been steadily increasing their fleet of Airbus A321neos, with plans to have over 150 by 2025. They're primarily using these aircraft on domestic routes, and I had the chance to fly on one from ATL to LAX last week. I was impressed by the cabin's comfort, especially the quieter engines and the upgraded in-flight entertainment system.
With the A321neo's improved fuel efficiency and range, do you think Delta could start using them on longer transcontinental routes more frequently, perhaps even replacing some of their aging Boeing 757s? Also, how do you think the A321neo compares to the Boeing 737 MAX 8, which other airlines like American and Southwest are using?
I'm curious about your experiences flying on the A321neo and how you think it might shift Delta's strategy in the domestic market. Could this mean more routes, better service, or even changes in pricing due to the cost efficiencies?
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and any experiences you've had on this aircraft!
