Hey fellow aviation enthusiasts! I'm planning a trip to Los Angeles and I want to spend some quality time plane spotting at LAX (Los Angeles International Airport). I've heard it's a great spot for capturing a variety of aircraft, from domestic flights to international heavies. I'm particularly interested in photographing the A380s and the 747s before they become even rarer sights.
Can anyone recommend the best locations around LAX for photography? I've heard about the In-N-Out Burger on Sepulveda Blvd as a classic spot, but are there any other lesser-known gems? Also, are there any particular times of day that are better for lighting and activity?
I'd also appreciate any tips on airport security and parking. I want to make sure I have a hassle-free experience while capturing some amazing shots. Looking forward to your recommendations and any recent experiences you've had at LAX. Thanks!
