Is the Chase Sapphire Preferred still worth it for airline travel?

Started by EWRCRJMan 3 hours ago 1 replies 8 views
I've been considering applying for the Chase Sapphire Preferred card, especially since I do a lot of airline travel and want to maximize my points. With the recent changes in airline loyalty programs like Delta SkyMiles and United MileagePlus, I'm wondering if this card is still one of the best options for travelers.

The current signup bonus is attractive, but I'm curious about how easy it is to transfer points to partners like United or Southwest. Is the 2x points on travel and dining still competitive, or are there better options out there now?

Also, how have those who already have the card been using the Pay Yourself Back feature effectively? Are there other travel credit cards that might offer better lounge access or perks?

I'd love to hear feedback from anyone who's been using this card recently or has switched to a different card for better travel benefits. What should I consider before applying?
