Hey fellow spotters! I'm planning a trip to Los Angeles and I'm super excited to do some plane spotting at LAX (Los Angeles International Airport). I know it's a busy airport with a diverse range of aircraft and airlines, so I'm really looking forward to capturing some great shots.
I've heard about the In-N-Out Burger on Sepulveda Blvd being a popular spot, but I'm curious if there are other hidden gems for spotting around LAX. Are there any locations where I can get good angles or unique perspectives, especially for catching some of the international heavies like the A380 or 777-300ER?
Also, if anyone has tips on the best times of day for lighting and traffic, that would be super helpful. Any advice on gear to bring for a variety of shots would be great too. I'm using a Canon EOS R with a 100-400mm lens, so I should be able to get some decent reach.
