Best Lens for Capturing Aircraft at LAX: 100-400mm vs 150-600mm

Hey fellow aviation photographers! I've been planning a trip to LAX (Los Angeles International Airport - IATA: LAX) for some serious plane spotting and need some advice on lens choices. Currently, I'm using a Canon EOS R5 and am considering either the Canon RF 100-400mm f/5.6-8 or the Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM for this trip.

LAX is known for its diverse traffic and great spotting locations like In-N-Out Burger near runway 24R. I'm looking to capture everything from wide-body giants like the A380 and 777 to smaller regional jets and possibly some night shots.

Has anyone used these lenses at LAX? Which one would you recommend for versatility and image quality? Also, any tips on the best times and spots for capturing those iconic LAX arrivals and departures? Looking forward to hearing your experiences and recommendations. Thanks in advance!
