British Airways' A380 Fleet: Future Plans and Potential Routes

Hey fellow aviation enthusiasts! I've been following the news about British Airways and their plans for their fleet, especially the Airbus A380s. With BA having one of the largest A380 fleets in Europe, I'm curious about what their future holds. Given the post-pandemic recovery, do you think BA will expand or reduce their A380 operations?

Right now, the BA A380 is serving routes like LHR to LAX, JFK, and HKG. However, with the ongoing demand recovery, could we see new destinations added to the list? Or might they retire some of the aircraft as other airlines have done?

Additionally, with the rise of more fuel-efficient aircraft like the A350 and the 787 Dreamliner, how do you see the A380 fitting into BA's long-term strategy? Will they continue to focus on high-capacity routes, or opt for more frequency with smaller aircraft?

Would love to hear your thoughts on BA's strategy and any insider info you might have! What routes do you want to see the A380 fly to next, or do you think it's time for BA to start winding down their superjumbo operations? Let's discuss!
