Qantas Orders A350s for Future Project Sunrise Flights

So, Qantas just placed an order for a bunch of Airbus A350-1000s. They're planning to use these for their Project Sunrise, which is all about flying non-stop from Sydney and Melbourne to places like London and New York. Pretty ambitious! These flights are supposed to start around 2025.

I think it's pretty cool to see such long-haul routes becoming a reality, but I do wonder how they'll manage passenger comfort on such long journeys. Those 20-hour flights are no joke.

Anyone else think this is a game-changer for long-haul travel? Or maybe it's just a bit too much? I'm curious what you guys think about the A350-1000s being the aircraft of choice for this project. Is it really the best fit for these ultra-long-haul routes? Would love to hear your thoughts!
Honestly, the A350-1000 seems like a solid choice for Project Sunrise. It's got the range and efficiency needed for those insane distances. But 20 hours in the air... yikes. I hope Qantas is planning some serious cabin innovations to make that bearable. More legroom, better seats, and maybe even some kind of lounge area to stretch would be great. I wonder how much the ticket prices will be though. Are people really willing to pay a premium for non-stop when a layover might be cheaper?
