Why's Boeing Already Built So Many 777-9s Before 2027 Launch?

So, I was reading about the Boeing 777X, and it looks like they've already cranked out over 20 of these birds even though they won't be flying commercially until 2027. That's quite a head start, huh? I guess Boeing's really banking on this model being a game-changer for long-haul flights. They've packed it with the latest tech for better fuel efficiency and a nicer ride for passengers.

But here's the thing-why already build so many if it's not flying for a few more years? Maybe they're trying to get ahead of any more delays? Or could it be about getting more testing done? I mean, seven years is a hefty delay from the original plan, so maybe they're trying to iron out all the kinks.

Also, what do you guys think about the 777X's impact on the market once it finally does start flying? Will airlines be all over it? I know it's supposed to be super efficient, but with all the advancements in aircraft tech, who knows what else might come up by then. Curious to hear your thoughts on why Boeing's already got a bunch of these ready to go.
