Got my hands on a vintage set of Braniff International knives

So, I was digging through some boxes at my local flea market last weekend and stumbled upon a set of vintage Braniff International stainless steel knives. They're pretty cool, with the Braniff logo engraved on the handles. The seller didn't seem to know much about them and let them go for cheap.

I'm curious if anyone here has come across similar items or knows more about their history? I think they might be from the 60s or 70s, but not entirely sure. Also, any advice on cleaning them without ruining the engraving?

I'm thinking of starting a collection of airline cutlery now-seems like a fun niche. Would love to hear any tips or stories from others who collect similar stuff. What's the most unique airline cutlery piece you've found?
Wow, what a find! Braniff stuff is always a cool snag. You're probably right about them being from the 60s or 70s since that was their heyday. For cleaning, I'd go with something gentle like a baking soda paste and a soft cloth to keep the engraving intact. I once found a Pan Am fork at a garage sale, and it got me hooked. Airline cutlery is such a neat niche! What other airlines are you thinking of hunting down?
