So, I just read that Southwest Airlines has a new busiest airport, and I'm kinda curious about where you all think it might be. With their insane scale and over 7,500 one-way departures a month, you'd think it has to be one of the big hubs, right? Given their massive fleet of Boeing 737s, they have tons of options.
Honestly, I'd guess somewhere like Chicago Midway or Dallas Love Field, since they're pretty central and major for Southwest. But who knows, it could be somewhere totally unexpected.
The data comes from Cirium, an aviation analytics company, which makes me think this info is probably on point.
What do you guys think? Any bets on which airport holds the title now? And do you think this will change how Southwest operates at other airports? Can't wait to hear your thoughts!
