Hey all, I just read something about what long-haul flight attendants might earn in 2026. It's kinda eye-opening. They're such a crucial part of the flying experience, both for safety and making sure we're all comfy and fed, but it seems like their pay doesn't always match the hard work they put in.
I mean, they've got to deal with hundreds of passengers, often for hours on end, in a small space. Sounds pretty intense, right? But still, they aren't among the highest-paid folks at an airline. Seems a bit off considering everything they do.
I wonder if airlines should be doing more to boost their salaries, especially given how important their role is. Or maybe it's more about improving working conditions or benefits? Not sure what the best approach is, but it's something to think about.
What do you guys think? Is it time airlines rethink how they compensate flight attendants? Or do you think their pay is fair considering the industry and all? Curious to hear your thoughts on this!
