Trump's Policies Adding to Aviation Worker Shortages?

So, it looks like the US aviation industry is having a rough time with staffing again, thanks to Trump's immigration policies. We were already struggling to find enough people for roles like mechanics and ramp workers. Now, with these stricter immigration rules, it's even harder to fill those spots.

Airlines and airports were just starting to get back on their feet after the pandemic, and now this. Trade groups had warned about a maintenance shortfall, and it seems like their concerns are proving to be legit.

Honestly, not sure how the industry is gonna cope if things don't change. The jobs people don't see, like the ones that keep planes moving safely and on time, are super important.

Anyone else worried about what this means for flight delays or maintenance quality in the long run? And do you think the industry can find a workaround, or are we stuck until immigration policies change?
Yeah, it's definitely a tough spot. The aviation industry relies on a lot of skilled labor that isn't always easy to find domestically. I've heard from a buddy who works as a mechanic that they've been pulling extra shifts to cover the shortage. It's not sustainable long-term. If these immigration policies stay the same, airlines might need to invest more in training programs or partnerships with trade schools. Just worried that might take too long to fix the current issues. Anyone seen any airlines taking steps to address this yet?
